Her World Series slide closes the gate and saves her the hassle of chasing her dog down the street
She loses support on the muddy ground and falls backwards, but slides on the ground and slams the gate with her feet, blocking the dog’s exit.
A moment later, Langley gets up again, still clutching the little white dog, and examines her muddy elbow and back.
She posted the footage on TikTok the next day, February 23, where it has been viewed almost 12,000 times since.
One fan suggested that there were worse things than falling into the mud, suggesting, “Admit it. This is better than chasing a dog two miles away.
Langley replied, “Much better.”
Jessica Wood praised Langley for holding the little dog she was carrying, even when she fell.
A TikToker named Jen suggested, “If it was the World Series, you would have won it.”
Another said, “I don’t see an embankment or other players, but I guess it’s good to practice baseball alone.”
Corey Lo said, “I’m so glad you filmed this on camera and your dog didn’t get away.”
Langley also shared the footage on Facebook, where Zack Cenabre commented: “U def played softball before” and she admitted that she played both softball and football.
She said the gate was left open by a neighbor and she only had a few cuts and bruises from her fall.
Just as Ryan releases his excited dog from the front porch, he notices a rabbit in the distance and immediately jumps after him. Because Ryan was still clutching the retractable leash when the dog ran away, he was dragged.
Last July, a home security camera captured the moment a dog owner was bumped into porch railings when his impatient dog decided to chase a rabbit.
The dog’s owner, identified only as Ryan, was clutching the retractable leash as the dog ran across the yard in Watertown, Litchfield County, Connecticut.
When the dog reached the end of its range, Ryan was ripped from his feet on the waist-high porch.
Fortunately, he managed to stop himself from rolling over the railing on the ground.
