Smart Destinations at the Valencia Congress in November

Madrid, October 27th (Prensa Latina) Representatives from more than 12 countries, including Cuba, Brazil, Colombia and Peru, will attend the III. World Congress of Smart Destinations based in Valencia.

The Spanish port city, considered one of the jewels of the Mediterranean, will host the event focused on sustainability and digitization in tourism from 21 to 23 November.

Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, Cuba, Colombia, Jordan, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Finland and Peru stand out among the speakers at the World Convention with more than 700 registered delegates.

Valencia, European Capital of Smart Tourism in 2022, hosts the symposium for the X anniversary of the DTI (Smart Tourist Destination) model, a Spanish initiative.

During the conclave, topics such as

Country strategies as smart destinations, new technologies for the stackless industry, the circular economy in the industry life cycle and the use of data to improve the management of attractive places for travelers.

In addition, they will talk about how destinations face climate change, the keys to sustainable mobility in tourism activities and the brand value in the marketing strategy related to the sustainability of the places to visit.

cooperative governance, development and resilience; green transition and sustainability in smart destinations; and the introduction of technologies will be other topics to be discussed at the Congress in Valencia.
