Adam Carolla admits he accidentally called “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba an “ab****” after she received a poor rating for routine on the ABC series

Adam Carolla admitted to accidentally calling “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba “ab****.”

The 59-year-old podcaster spoke about the faux pas on Cheryl Burke's podcast “Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans Sunday.”

The Los Angeles native took part in the ABC show in the spring of 2008 with his professional partner Julianne Hough.

The broadcast veteran ultimately placed 9th, with figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi coming out on top this season.

Carolla said the verbal faux pas – which fans noticed – came to light in a live broadcast of an episode when he received a paltry score of five from Inaba when he quietly said: “Oh, b****.”

Adam Carolla, 59, admitted to accidentally calling “Dancing with the Stars” judge Carrie Ann Inaba, 56, “ab****” when discussing the gaffe on Cheryl Burke's podcast “Sex, Read, and Spray Tans Sunday”.

Burke, 39, asked Carolla, “Okay, did you call Carrie Ann ab****?” To which Carolla replied, “I did and I forgot I did it.”

Carolla said the show's producers told him about the slip of the tongue, which he initially denied.

“I thought, 'I didn't say it,' and they said, 'Yeah, you said it.' And I thought, 'I did?'” he said.

Burke asked Carolla if the comment was in response to the low score.

He replied, “No, I called her stupid and couldn't remember, which is strange.”

Carolla said he had “no issues” with Inaba, who he said properly discharged her duties as a dance judge in her assessment of his performance.

“I knew what the job was” They knew what the job was – I get it,” he said.

Other celebrities who appeared on the show during Carolla's season included the late Lisa Marie Presley, comedian Penn Jillette, tennis player Monica Seles, Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur, Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin and the Actor Cristián de la Fuente, who Burke dated during her time as a dancer.

Carolla told Burke about an awkward exchange with Winokur when he tried to relax her during filming because she was “a bundle of nerves.”

“I walked up to her and Penn Jillette was standing there,” Carolla said. “He tried to help too. I say, “Look, you’re not going to have any fun out there. But you know what you're going to have, you're going to have an experience. You will have an experience that you couldn't exchange for anything. It's such a crazy experience.”

Carolla said he told Winokur that it was an experience that couldn't be bought and that it was similar to giving birth.

“I said, 'You know, giving birth, having a child, is that fun? No. Would you miss it for the world? It's an experience and that's it. This is birth, the most important experience you will ever have.” “” Carolla said.

Carolla said Winokur told him in response, “I just had ovarian cancer and can't have children,” to which he replied, “Ah, what?”
