Adriana Araújo blew up André Valadão in band for homophobic statement

Adriana Araújo took a stand against André Valadão during the live broadcast of “Jornal da Band” this Monday (3). The journalist expressed the homophobic position of the evangelical pastor who suggested the deaths of people from the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
Araújo mentioned Valadão’s testimony during an evangelical service in Orlando, United States. “If I could, I would kill everything and start over. But I promised I couldn’t, now it’s up to you,” said the pastor, who is being investigated by the state ministry for homophobia.
The journalist denied that the pastor incited violence among the faithful. “There is no explanation, there is no possible patch for this speech by André Valadão. What he did and repeated was implying the death of homosexual people. What he was doing was using the name of God to try to stir up hatred and prejudice,” he explained. .
