A beer brewer in Minnesota, USA, had a huge scare when he was violently knocked over by a jet of beer when the tank valve gave way.
The uninjured Back Channel Brewing Co. employee slipped before trying in vain to close the valve on the tank, which had been emptied of several hundred beers.
The accident became a marketing motive for the brewery, which decided to share the video on social networks to promote a new amber nectar beer with a higher than average alcohol content.
To mark the occasion, the brewery named its new 6.5% New England IPA beer “Blow Back,” in honor of the jet of hops that washed over the employee, the Huffington Post reported Wednesday.
As a reminder, during the last Oktoberfest in Germany last fall, the company, wanting to stand out for original ideas, held a pickle-kicking competition.
