The dictator Alberto Fujimori resurfaced and revealed that Fuerza Popular has an agreement with Dina Boluarte to remain president until 2026, although one sector is requesting that the general elections be brought forward due to questions in Congress and the executive branch.
“The government of President Dina Boluarte will last until 2026, at least that is what Fuerza Popular and Fujimori have agreed on,” said Fujimori Fujimori in an interview for the “Milagros Leiva” program.

The person convicted of crimes against humanity also stated that his pardon was “justified” after the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IDH Court) questioned the Constitutional Court's decision.
“It (the pardon) is fully justified and the Constitutional Court has duly supported it in all aspects,” he said.
Alberto Fujimori talks about Keiko Fujimori
During the interview, Alberto Fujimori announced that both Fuerza Popular and Fujimori will be present in the next elections. However, he did not confirm the presence of Keiko Fujimori.

“It is too early to make any decisions but we will do so in due course. Fujimoriism will still be present. (….) What will be done is that Fujimorism is always present because there is an audience, well,” he added.
