Like most smartphone brands, high-end models like the 13 series will be the first to receive the update. Mid-range and entry-level cell phones will later benefit from this.
The other important parameter concerns the release date of your smartphone and the brand’s commitment to update your device to the main Android versions, as well as security upgrades.
When it comes to software tracking, Xiaomi is not yet at the level of Samsung and Apple. For its high-end models, the brand basically offers three years of major updates and four years of security updates. Unfortunately, the same does not apply to Redmi and POCO, whose updates rarely last more than two years.
