Such was the success of “Marimar” that even today it has fans who are enthralled by the plot and remember the actors fondly.
Daniel Gauvry played Arturo Galván in Marimar
Marimar was one of the first opportunities the Argentine native had as an actor. In fiction, he gave birth to a famous soccer player and best friend of Sergio Santibañez.
His debut became one of his most well-known projects, in a December 2021 interview with Missiones Online he admitted that he “didn’t appreciate the consequences” of the project.
“It was the soap opera that made me stand out in my career, I just got out of it overnight. From one day to the next I couldn’t go outside, from one day to the next it was very difficult to walk my son in the park because I couldn’t… once they got us out safely “An amusement park , all of us under escort, we almost kill because we all (the fans) came to take a picture,” he said of the impact the melodrama had on his career.
It’s worth noting that Daniel Gauvry graduated from the Art Education Center just two years ago.

Daniel Gauvry left the soap operas after great success
After these two hits, her face became an integral part of such melodramas as “Camila”, “Ramona”, “Por tu amor”, “Así son ellas” and others. In total, he worked on more than a dozen novels.
In 2007 everything changed. During the filming of The Virgin Wife, he realized he was “tired” and “lazy” whenever he was called to his scenes:
“The million dollar question that comes to mind is, ‘What am I doing here?’ So I said, ‘I don’t want to do that anymore, I want to do something else’.”
After this revelation, he asked the story’s author to kill his character.
From that moment on, he focused his efforts as an actor on dedicating himself fully to the theater, which he really loved.
Soon after, he decided to fulfill his dream of living on the beach and moved to Cancun. At first he didn’t know what to do, but eventually he decided to study biomagnetism and do magnetic therapy.

This is how he spent the next five years of his life, until it seemed to him that his destiny had “become very urban” and he decided to pack his bags again. For this reason he moved to Mahahual, a city in southern Mexico, also with a beach and much fewer inhabitants.
There he founded a diving company with one of his sons.

However, this was severely affected by the restrictions imposed by the corona pandemic. So Daniel Gauvry decided to return to his native Argentina in 2021. As he commented in interviews at the time, he had no other plans than settling in the province of Misiones.
As for the personal life of the Marimar actor, it is striking that in 2019 he announced the death of his partner. In addition, he has three children and one grandson.
