Puerto Rico Relations Association (ARPR) President Tomás Dardet said the Bad Rabbit work team’s actions are a “well-considered strategy.”

“Every action has to be evaluated in the context of who the person is and what brand image they want to create. In the case of Bad Bunny, a global music star, his actions often respond not always to the moment but to a well-considered strategy,” Dardet said in written statements THE SPOKESMAN.

He also pointed out that the privatization of his social networks “benefits his image”.

“I think putting your private social media accounts is part of a strategy that, contrary to popular belief, will not harm your image. Conversely, this benefits your image as everyone is now much more aware of what you do and don’t do. He’s creating a FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) sensation among his fans, critics and the general public that will end up cementing his brand while maintaining interest. Bad Bunny is taking a break,” said the ARPR President.

Earlier this year, the vegabajeño was at the center of controversy when it came to launching a fan phone in the Dominican Republic.

After this event, Martínez Ocasio decided to use his social networks to explain why he launched the mobile device.

“The person who approaches me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to get to know me will always get my attention and respect. Those who come to shove a cellphone bastard in my face, I will take it for what it is, a lack of respect, and I will treat it the same way,” said the artist, who hashtagged the message, ” SINCOJONESMETIENE” ended the controversial message, which was posted on January 2 but deleted two days later.

2023 a break

Last December, in an exclusive interview with Billboard, the bad bunny said he would be taking a break from his career in 2023 to focus on his physical and mental health.

“2023 is for me, for my physical health, for my emotional health, for breathing, for enjoying the accomplishments. Let’s party. Let’s go here, let’s go there. Let’s go to the boat. Let’s go to the water me. He goes into the studio, he records, but no pressure. Remember you bastard#$@ you hit him hard with lame &*&” the artist explained.

Last year he was named Artist of the Year by Apple Music, he was the first singer to release an album in Spanish, he was nominated for a Grammy in the category “Album of the Year”, he became the most listened to for the third year in a row Spotify topped and was among the most listened to artists on YouTube in the US.
