A video of a barber kicking his client out of his chair as Quavo enters his hair salon has sparked a “What would you do?” debate on social media.
On Friday (June 17), Instagram user @youssefbarber, an Atlanta barber and owner of Diamond Cuts studio, posted a video on IG of him and his client named Lance sitting in his chair cutting their hair to let. When Quavo enters the barber shop, the barber immediately tells Lance to stand up so the Migos member can climb into his chair.
In the clip, the caption reads, “What would you do if QUAVO Huncho walked into your hair salon?” The caption also adds, “Get your ass up Lance and do that dance.”
For the record, Lance is a long-time client at Diamond Cuts Studio and was told in advance that if Quavo came in, Quavo would have to get up for the Atlanta rapper to do his cut. So the hairdresser wasn’t unkind to Lance. Peep Lance’s comment below under @youssefbarber’s IG video.

However, the video has drawn mixed reactions from people who felt the barber was grossly unprofessional for telling his client to get out of his chair so he could cut Quavo’s hair.
But some people also understood what the barber was doing – it was only business, never personal. When a celebrity client walks in, they’re given preferential treatment because they’re likely to pay the most for their haircut.
“Aye, that barber a groupie like a Mf. Just ’cause Quavo went to the barber shop, nigga, you ain’t gonna make me get up.” Either Quavo pays for my shit or my shit is free,” one person wrote on Twitter.
Another commenter tweeted, “Making your client get out of the chair mid cut because Quavo walked in is wild lol let barbers treat you every way.”
And another user claiming to be a barber wrote: “I won’t lie, as a barber I would do the same, quavo 100% will pay me a lot more than brother in the chair, it’s worth a lost customer imo.” .”
