According to the New York Times, the actor David Gail died this Sunday (21) at the age of 58.

Gail became known for his role as Stuart Carson in the fourth season of “Barred at the Ball”. The actor appeared in eight episodes of the show, which was a huge success between the 1990s and 2000s. In the series, Gail played Brenda's fiancée, Shannen Doherty's character.

He also stood out as Doctor Joe Scanlon in the soap opera Port Charles, where he appeared in 216 episodes.

The actor's cause of death was not revealed.

Gail was born in Tampa, Florida and made her television debut in 1990 on the series Growing Pains.

In addition to the film “The Survivors”, David also had smaller appearances in other TV projects such as “Plantão Médico”, “VIP” and “Robin's Hoods”.

According to Variety magazine, Katie Colmenares, the actor's sister, confirmed the death on her social media. “There was almost never a day in my life when you weren't with me, by my side. Always my best friend, ready to face anything and everything with me. I will hold you so tightly in my heart every day. I “I will miss you every second of every day, forever. There will never be another,” Kate wrote online, without giving details of the day or cause of the actor’s death.
