Although the name Harry Kane rhymes with Tottenham, it’s entirely possible he’s under a different sky.
The 29-year-old Spurs captain has spent his entire professional career at Tottenham apart from a few early-career loans.
But now Kane’s contract only has one year left and there are plenty courting him, but no club seem to be working as hard as Bayern Munich.
The German champions are still trying to replace striker Robert Lewandowski, who left for Barcelona last year. According to L’Équipe, Bayern have already made two offers to Tottenham but they have been rejected. It is around 70 and 80 million euros (101.98 M$ CA and 116.5 M$ CA).
At Bayern, we have no doubt that the England striker will land before the start of next season, even if the players are back on the field in preparation this week.
Bayern would also prepare a third offer in the range of €90m to €95m (CA131.1M$ to CA138.4M$).
Kane, okay
According to German weekly Bild, the Munich staff traveled to London to meet Kane last May and the two parties have agreed on the terms of the contract.
Kane then reportedly claimed that the only way he could continue his career at Bayern was if he left Tottenham.
Concern is spreading at Spurs and head coach Ange Postecoglou expressed it well in his first press conference.
“I have absolutely no guarantee that Harry will stay this summer. If I spend too much time worrying about the implications of this file, I won’t be able to build a team.
