The Traitors is reportedly set for a prominent spin-off version of the series following the success of the first two series.
It is claimed that producers are hoping to have a number of big stars to choose from who are themselves fans of the reality show.
As the ongoing second series draws to a close on Friday, names producers are likely to have in mind have been suggested, including Wagatha Christie's rivals Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy, as well as former health secretary Matt Hancock, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity. of 2022 took third place. ..Get Me Out of Here and Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.
A TV insider told The Sun: “Bosses want big names as the series has big viewing figures and they know they will have plenty to choose from as The Traitors has big fans in the world of showbiz.”

The insider added that BBC bosses wanted the civilian version of the show to become well established before they start planning a celebrity version.
However, the first two series proved to be so successful that the television giants have apparently decided to continue the celebrity spin-off.
“They’re shooting for the stars too,” the insider added. “Because they don’t understand why they can’t attract the same caliber of people who are currently signing up for Strictly and I’m A Celebrity.”

It comes after The Traitors viewers predicted Harry's downfall after he decided to keep a shield secret in a very elaborate plot twist in Friday's episode.
