Joe Biden fell off his bike. The 79-year-old American president’s minor incident, as video by CNN shows, happened as he stopped to greet a group of supporters. He was on a bike ride with his wife Jill and his escort near his beach house in Delaware. As the first lady turned sideways, her husband walked over to a small crowd who wanted to greet him, but his foot caught in the spokes of a wheel and he fell to the ground. “Everything’s ok,” he said, then spoke briefly to the reporters and climbed back into the saddle. The White House, CNN reported, has announced that the president does not require medical treatment.
Joe and Jill are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary this weekend. Biden was dressed athletically in blue sneakers, a gray t-shirt, blue shorts and a white bike helmet.
