Cale Makar could be very generous to his teammates

The Colorado Avalanche defensemen will be watching the National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Game skills competition with financial interest.

Her teammate Cale Makar will take part in the event, which will take place on February 2nd in Toronto. The star player promised to share the $1 million amount with his teammates on the blue line if he wins the competition.

“Cale has already told our entire group of defenders that he would give each of us $100,000 if he won the million. So yes, we will advocate for him,” revealed fullback Bowen Byram on Friday, whose comments were reported by broadcaster AltitudeTV.

This year, the NHL significantly changed the format of its professional competition. Only twelve skaters will be in action. You must try to collect as many points as possible in four of the following six disciplines: fastest skater, strongest throw, puck handling, one-timer, pass challenge and precision throws.

The eight ice hockey players who have collected the most points at the end of these events then compete against each other in a shootout. Then two more athletes are eliminated and a winner is determined from the last six athletes in the obstacle course.

In addition to Makar, David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins), Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche), Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers), Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers), Jack Hughes (New Jersey Devils), Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay Lightning), Auston Matthews ( Toronto Maple Leafs), William Nylander (Toronto Maple Leafs), Elias Pettersson (Vancouver Canucks), JT Miller (Vancouver Canucks) and Quinn Hughes (Vancouver Canucks) were the participants selected by the NHL.
