Channel 10 has released a new trailer for Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains and it looks like it’s about to be seen on the edge of the square.
The teaser, shared to Instagram on Monday, begins with stunning aerial sea and mountain shots from its scenic filming location.
Host Jonathan LaPaglia, 53, then steps into the picture from a scenic spot on the beach and asks a question.

“Who does it better in Survivor, a hero or a villain?” he asks the audience.
He then tells viewers that the new season is going back to its roots and will be filmed in Samoa, where the series was filmed in 2016 and ’17.
The action-packed adventure reality series is set to air next January.

Followers were quick to comment on how excited they were to see the new series.
“It’s so hard to wait but I know it will be worth it,” one fan wrote, while another added that he was thrilled the series was “back in Samoa.”
The season, which will be Australia’s first episode of Heroes V Villain, is currently filming in Samoa and Channel 10 has called it “spectacular”.

However, there will be a twist that sets it apart from the US version of Heroes v Villains.
In addition to the former Tribes players, a few new players have also been thrown into the mix.
Earlier this year, LaPaglia teased fans that they can expect big things from the real-life adventure show.
“The season is over,” he posted on his Instagram stories. “Back in the office to make the next season of Survivor… and it’s turning into a ripper.”
