Charli and George’s paths first crossed when they were working on their song “Spinning” and collaborating again on their album “Crash.”
Speaking about their songwriting partnership, Charli previously told The Sun: “Now that I’m in a relationship with another musician, he’s influenced me a lot with his process and the way he and his band work.”
“It’s really different to the way I work and that definitely influenced me and my process.” I was always like, “Quick, quick, quick, album a month, let’s go.”
“Now I’m like, ‘Oh, maybe it’s cool to take some time and live in the music you make.’ “My process is definitely evolving.”
Before her relationship with George, Charli was in a long-term relationship with Huck Kwong.

She previously explained that the song is about connecting with others on wild nights.
She said: “The song is about finding the people you really love and connect with through wild nights out and parties in magical places.”
The Hot In It hitmaker added at the time that “acceptance” was the song’s core message.
She also pointed out that it served to “accept” people in the queer community.
She added: “It’s about feeling accepted, the awesomeness of being welcomed into queer spaces and the people you only meet once in your life when you’re there.”
