Chris Hemsworth has returned to Extraction 2 as mercenary Tyler Rake in the action-packed teaser trailer – after discovering he is genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s disease.
The Australian actor, 39, is reportedly not planning to retire anytime soon but is said to be taking on fewer roles in the future.
In November, he announced he was “eight to 10 times” more likely to develop Alzheimer’s than the general population because he has two copies of the APOE4 gene.

In the dramatic preview, the actor can be seen dishing out punches while being set on fire – and later attempting to shoot down a helicopter in one of many heart-pounding fight scenes.
