Chris Young is cleared of all charges following his arrest at a Nashville bar … after security footage showed the singer being shoved by an officer

Chris Young was cleared of all charges after he was arrested at a Nashville bar on Monday following DUI charges following an alleged altercation with police.

The 38-year-old country star was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct: assault on an officer and resisting arrest after he allegedly “punched” an officer.

However, Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk released a statement on Friday – just a day after security footage showed Young being pushed by a police officer before being arrested, contradicting the officer's version of events.

According to People, Funk stated, “As for the Chris Young incident – after reviewing all of the evidence in this case, the District Attorney's Office has decided that these charges will be dismissed.”

The singer's attorney, Bill Ramsey, also released a statement saying, “Mr. Young and I are pleased with the prosecutor's decision to clear him of the charges and any wrongdoing.'

Chris is cleared of all charges shortly after security footage showed him being aggressively pushed by an officer during the Nashville bar altercation that led to his arrest – apparently contradicting the cop's version of events.

The country star is stung so badly by the special agent that he falls backwards over a bar stool at the DawgHouse Saloon in the video, which is shown from three angles.

According to law enforcement, four Alcoholic Beverage Commission officers were checking out another bar, Tin Roof, when they first encountered the singer, who then followed them to DawgHouse before attacking one of them.

But surveillance video appears to tell a different story, prompting Young's attorney, Bill Ramsey, to call for an apology and charges to be dropped.

The first clip in the footage shows Young standing near the bar in a black leather jacket, jeans and a cap as the four agents march past him toward the exit.

The 2006 Nashville Star winner then extended his arm and appeared to block the first agent's path, but did not touch him, and the agent responded by shoving him so hard that he fell backwards.

The fall was so dramatic that several people who were also sitting at the bar jumped out of their seats and approached the Gettin' You Home singer to check on him.

Another camera angle behind Young showed him landing on his back on the edge of the bar before falling to the floor. A bar stool fell with him.
