Chrissy Teigen and John Legend say their children Miles and Luna know they are trying to have another baby using IVF

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have revealed they’re “trying” for another baby and their kids know all about it.

The couple, who took to social media at 20 weeks after the devastating loss of their son Jack in September 2020, are undergoing IVF treatment to have a sibling for Luna, five, and Miles, three, and said the youngsters are “excited” at the prospect of having another child in the home.

“They know we’re trying and they’re excited,” John said in an interview with People.

The Ordinary People singer admitted that getting fertility treatment “isn’t easy” and insisted people shouldn’t “be ashamed” if they need medical help to get pregnant.

“I think Chrissy has done a good job of destigmatizing some of these things that so many people go through in silence,” he said.

“Whether it’s IVF or other fertility issues, whether it’s losing a pregnancy, I think we both feel like it’s good for us to share this with other people because other people are going through it too, we don’t think so ‘that they should suffer in silence, not knowing that there are other people out there who feel the same way.’

Both Luna and Miles were conceived via in vitro fertilization and Chrissy confirmed last month that she is undergoing treatment again.

The model shared it on Instagram, writing: “Hiiii. I’ve posted about this in my stories but wanted to let you guys know that I’m on another IVF cycle to save as many eggs as possible and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos.

The 36-year-old influencer admitted she “doesn’t mind” the often painful injections that come with IVF, but implored well-meaning fans to stop asking her if she’s pregnant.

“I honestly don’t mind the shots… they make me feel like a doctor/chemist… but the bloating is ridiculous. So I humbly ask you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s being said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I’m the opposite of pregnant.

Chrissy had previously opened up about how the couple were trying to have a child again when she shared a picture of an injectable IVF drug normally given for egg retrieval and wrote: “Here we go again.”
