Colin Farrell looked unrecognizable on Wednesday as he continued filming the Batman spin-off “The Penguin” in New York City.
The 47-year-old Irish actor wore a very realistic bald wig, a hairy chest and an unbuttoned light gray shirt with a dark gray vest to play the series' disfigured eponymous character.
Colin kept warm in a large, matching gray coat that fell below the knees and was lined with faux fur.
He wore a chunky gold bracelet and statement rings and completed his look with black pants and dress shoes, two months after his last appearance on set.
Colin looked menacing as he walked over the rubble, impersonating the character of the penguin, whose real name is Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot.

The upcoming series is a spin-off of the 2022 film The Batman, in which Robert Pattison portrays the titular hero.
Colin's penguin comes from this film and is the former lieutenant of crime boss Carmine Falcon (John Taturro).
The Batman is an origin story, so Penguin is not yet the crime boss he is portrayed as in the comics, nor is Batman a skilled crime fighter.
Matt Reeeves, the film's director, compared the character of Penguin to Fredo Corleone (John Cazale) from The Godfather (1972), due to “the insignificance in which he lives, in a family full of very strong, very smart, very .” “capable, very violent men”.
Co-starring with Colin is How I Met Your Mother's Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, the daughter of Carmine, Penguin's boss.
First announced in 2021, The Penguin is set a week after the events of The Batman. It is expected to air in late 2024.
Another of Colin's series is set to air in 2024, the sci-fi series Sugar, which is said to be “a genre-bending contemporary take on the private detective story set in Los Angeles.”
The actor's final feature film roles came in 2022, when, in addition to “The Batman,” he also appeared in the critically acclaimed, Golden Globe-winning black comedy “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
