“I have been teaching acting in front of the camera to theater graduates at the Collège Lionel-Groulx in Sainte-Thérèse for four years. For me, the best part of my job now is teaching. I have also been working as a coach for actors at castings for 15 years. These professions do not stop the actor from getting jobs here and there. “You can see me in the play La mouette at the Théâtre Prospero in March. I will also be appearing on TNM next year in an as yet unannounced play.” On television, he is part of the cast of the historical series IXE-13 and Uranium Race, available on Club illico. He also continues to appear occasionally on Radio-Canada's STAT newspaper, where he plays the role of the late wife of emergency doctor Emmanuelle St-Cyr (Suzanne Clément), who died under unclear circumstances. “I have the impression that this intrigue will continue for quite a while,” he admits. On a personal level, Daniel Parent experienced a separation three years ago from Rosalie, a baker who is also the mother of his two children, Boris and Dali, aged 16 and 18. “Rosalie and I continued to have a good relationship. I now have another blonde who works at Just For Laughs. She has three children, I have two and my ex-partner also has two of her own. There are a lot of people at home, but things are going well,” he says.
