Marie Carmen herself addressed the issue on her Facebook page, responding to a concerned admirer. “As you can see, morale is excellent,” she said, posting a photo of herself sitting in a wheelchair. And I have a few days to heal my knee. So I’ll be in great shape in Quebec on the 17th.”

The incident occurred during a performance of the show “Pour une histoire d'un soir” in Gatineau, where the interpreter of “Donne-toi” shares the stage with Marie-Denise Pelletier, Luce Dufault and Joe Bocan. Marie Carmen fell while leaving the stage.

“There was more fear than damage,” one of her press representatives clarified, but the injured singer could go back on the road. The tour, which brings together the shows Say How Much I Love You by Luce Dufaut and the collective Pour une histoire d'un soir, has two more stops: Quebec on January 17th and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on January 21st. The four artists will be there to perform with the OSM on the 23rd and 24th at the Maison symphonique.
