These 10 non-signed players have the opportunity to be included in the Detroit Lions roster at the rookie mini-camp.

If the Detroit Lions sign their remaining five NFL draft picks for 2023, they will have 88 players on their 90-man roster. The two remaining spots could well come from the rookie minicamp, which started Friday and lasts through Sunday.
The rookie minicamp includes all eight Lions draft picks, their 15 undrafted rookie signings, a trio of sophomores, and 10 tryouts. On Saturday, the Lions unveiled their roster for rookie minicamp and unveiled the official players who will be attempting to make the team this weekend.
First, here are the three Year Two players who will be in attendance:
- TE Derrick Deese
- OT Obinna Eze
- G Darrin Paulo
And here are the 10 players applying for the team:
- WR Dylan Drummond – Eastern Michigan
- WR Darrius Shepherd – State of North Dakota
- DL Jullian Taylor – Temple
- DL Jacorey Johns – Wake Forest
- DL Wyatt Ray—Boston College
- CB David Vereen – Newberry
- CB Da’Meak Brandon – Limestone
- S Chris Bacon—Bowling Green
- S Xavier Bell – Portland State
- K John Parker Romo—Virginia Tech
