A second excerpt from the music film Our sisters-in-law was announced on Monday morning.
In this short 30-second scene we see actor Benoit Brière in the guise of a bingo host announcing the number of a ball.
“Bingo, bingo, I won!” Germaine Lauzon (Geneviève Schmidt) immediately shouts.
Directed by René Richard Cyr, “Nos belles-sœurs” is inspired by the famous play by Michel Tremblay, a great classic of Quebec theater from the mid-1960s. The musical film brings Geneviève Schmidt, Guylaine Tremblay and Anne-Élisabeth to the screen Bossé, Debbie Lynch-White, Véronic DiCaire, Valérie Blais, Diane Lavallée, Isabelle Blais and Ariane Moffatt in her first film role.
Daniel Bélanger writes the music for the feature film, which is produced by Denise Robert of Cinémaginaire (Testament, De père en flic) and distributed by TVA Films.
Our sisters-in-law will be on display throughout Quebec on July 11th.
