Drew Barrymore has shared that she is not happy about being lied to by a man on a dating app.
The “Charlie's Angels” actress said on Friday's episode of her talk show that someone she was romantically interested in faked when he said he was a football player.
In reality he was a musician.
The 48-year-old ET star was so upset that she's thinking about quitting dating apps altogether.
“This guy on my dating app said he was the quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams,” the Playboy cover girl began.
The Los Angeles Rams' real quarterback is John Matthew Stafford, 35, who is married to Kelly Hall.
“So I texted him and said, ‘Oh my God, I went to the first training game. I was so frustrated being a girl from Los Angeles who loves soccer and we didn't have any teams. And then I moved away to New York and then we have two teams. And it's nice to meet you, my name is Drew.'

She added: “He wasn't the quarterback of the LA Rams – he's a musician who thought he was cute. 'How am I supposed to feel about this?'
The story was relayed on Friday's episode of her afternoon talk show when she told co-host Ross Matthews that the incident made her sick.
“Every time I get there it doesn’t feel great. “I always last five days,” Barrymore said of online dating.
“And this time my app has changed to show people like you, which is very flattering… But I don't know who anyone is and it just feels scary to go out with a stranger.”
“Newsflash, that’s how they work!” Matthews said. “You shouldn’t know them.” “You don’t go on a dating app to meet people you already know.”
Ross said: “You should feel lied to and robbed too. 'I had a fantasy that you were like the new Taylor Swift and were at the Games.'
“Well, we're going to the Super Bowl too and I thought, 'Oh, maybe I could meet up…'
“I wasn’t trying to sign a football player. I was happy to talk about being at the Coliseum to see their first game in Los Angeles.

Barrymore starred with Will Kopelman, whom she was married to from 2012 to 2016
“And then the guy said, 'Hey, Drewski,' and I said, 'I hate you…You tough, sneaky, playful – you made me feel stupid.' I don't know who you are.” “I feel so stupid. Why did we have to get out like that? I hate you!” she shared.
This comes just as Sharon Stone opens up about her experiences on dating apps like Tinder and Bumble.
She admitted that she once went on a date with a “heroin addict” who ordered absinthe at a bar.
The 65-year-old Basic Instinct siren has said in a candid new interview with The Times that she is looking for love and a “connection” for a quick one-night stand.
Stone shares that many of the recent dates she's had have come from online dating, including an ex-convict and “a heroin addict who clearly gets 20,000 heroin shots later than the picture he sent me.”
The date with the alleged addict took place at the Hotel Bel-Air, but didn't last long.
“I tell the waiter, ‘I’ll have a glass of water.’ He had a cocktail: absinthe or something. And I said, 'I'm sorry, I can't stay,'” recalled Stone, who was once blocked on Bumble.

Stone hopes to find a real “connection” with the apps: “I didn't want to just go on Tinder and fuck someone.” You know what I mean? It's so easy to fuck someone. You don't have to go on Tinder; You go to the damn Coffee Bean. “It’s not hard,” she explained.
Not every dating experience for Sharon has been a cautionary tale, as the actress began two relationships during the COVID-19 crisis.
The relationships remained online, but Stone recalled how she helped the men get through their recent breakups.
“I was almost like a therapist,” she said. “One whose wife told him she wanted a divorce and they had two small children. He had a hard time processing it. And [the other] had broken up with his girlfriend. She had gotten pregnant and instead of getting married, she had an abortion… He was still very much in love with her and I helped him deal with that. It was really worth it for both of us. I don't know how to explain it.'
Stone showed off her bikini body on Instagram last year
But this year, Sharon hopes differently: “This is the year I want to fall in love – 100 percent,” she said.
When it comes to her next partner, Sharon doesn't have a list of qualifications.
“I'm not looking for anything.” I've never looked for anything. Because I don't think that's happening. You're standing somewhere, someone comes up to you and starts talking to you, and you turn around and think, 'What?' And the next thing you know, two years have passed.”
“You don't look for a list and then your list comes along.” That's what people who don't have relationships do. So that they can take comfort in not having a relationship and feel like they are actively working to make that happen in their lives.”
Sharon was married to screenwriter Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1987.
She then married the journalist Phil Bronstein from 1998 to 2004, with whom she raised their 23-year-old son Roan.
The star adopted two sons alone, Quinn, 17, and Laird, 18.
