Christina Aguilera appears TOPLES at the Billboard Women In Music Awards show in Los Angeles

The 41-year-old Aguilera appeared in front of the group of photographers dressed in a shiny black suit with a free design, which is a departure from her days at Xtina yesterday.

But rest assured, the Stripped Star was still bringing that fashion sharpness when she stuffed herself with her things, wearing her blazer without a top. In fact, in his place, she wore gold jewelry that outlined her open neckline.

It is very likely that she and her glamor team used some kind of glue to make sure that the lapel of her blazer remained attached to her chest.

Dressed in black pants and black, red and white buttons on a black top, HER ensemble does not cause the same worries or anxieties.

And any fan of a great mane would love the hairstyle of the Fight For You star for the event. It flowed a lot in the middle of her back, with a huge dose of volume, natural curls and part in the middle.

For an extra touch of pop star chic, she wore retro sunglasses with a white frame that would have made every diva of the 1940s and 1950s proud.

The Conners Summary: Season 4, Episode 14

An epidemic of gun violence in America struck near home on Wednesday Connors.

Written by TV star Lesie Goranson, the dramatic episode interrupted Louise’s return home with the word that someone had been shot at Lanford Woods Mall, where Emilio had just taken Beverly Rose. Locked inside, helpless Becky stood in frozen panic while the rest of the family clung to the news.

Eventually, Emilio called and informed Becky that he and their daughter were healthy and healthy. Moments later, the family witnessed the shooter, identified as a former classmate of Harris James McNulty, shot dead on live television. Prolonged trauma sparked a wider talk of gun violence, as well as Dan’s insistence on holding a firearm in case he ever needed it for protection.

Below, Goranson and executive producers Bruce Helford and Dave Kaplan break up the intense episode …

TVLINE | Lesie, you have a previous “Story by” credit for “Season Throwing Christian”, but this is the first episode you wrote. Tell me how this opportunity came about.
GORANSON | Well, the opportunity was created by itself. [Laughs] Although, you know, we had to get some guys to sign it. In fact, I put it in my contract [this season]. Since I’m a Chicago resident, my ear is always on… I don’t know, John Hancock Center or something. Just like the Bears [episode] He came out of me and said, “Hey, wait a minute! Is this the Chicago area or what? If we’re in this area, we need to talk about sports, “gun violence is so prevalent in Chicago that everyone is talking about it. It’s everywhere – in the suburbs, in the center, in the bad neighborhoods, the good neighborhoods, it’s everywhere – and I had the feeling that we can’t talk about Lanford without talking about it, unfortunately.

TVLINE | I understand that this episode was inspired by a conversation you had with a teacher you met in Chicago?
GORANSON | I sat with my father and watched the Northwestern production Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. There was a woman with her daughter next to me, and she said, “I know who you are, I’m watching the show. I teach at Elgin, where Lanford is based, and if you want to write something, write about gun violence because it happens. That was two years ago, before COVID, and look what happened in the last two years. More weapons have been bought and sold in America than ever before. Gun violence is on the rise, gun-related suicides are on the rise, gun accidents are on the rise … The first day I was in the writers’ room, I was getting texts from my friends in Evanston because there were guns found in Evanston High School. I don’t know how much more on the nose you can get out of this, but it’s true. This is happening in our country.

TVLINE | Did you approach the outlines of this episode differently? For example, did you start by making sure you hit all the dramatic punches first before going back and seeing where the jokes fit?
CAPLAN | This is always our approach The Connors familywhich is, “What is it that we want to say is fair and can be filtered through Connors’ working class?” funny in a way.
Connors 4x14HELFORD | The manta is: “We do the real thing funny. We’re not trying to make it funny real
GORANSON | However, this was complicated because this is a topic that no one wants to talk about. And that’s something I’ve really been coming home to since this process started for me. When I mention it to friends and talk about the process, it’s remarkable to hear how many people have to say and how many people have experienced it. This is just an example of how widespread it really is. Interestingly, there is this “liberal Hollywood” against people who love guns. But when you look at Hollywood, there are weapons everywhere – and it’s not like they’re used [in media] and then whatever happens is reflected [in the story]. Usually it’s just “Bang! Bang! Bum! ”

TVLINE | The shooter is revealed to be a former classmate of Harris’s, a child named James McNulty. Why did you decide to identify the shooter?
HELFORD | Mostly to find out what the reaction was … It’s easy to dismiss when it’s just a random person no one knows. When that happens, there are a lot of people who have a story with the shooter, a person who has parents and loved ones, no matter what disgusting thing they may have done.
CAPLAN | This is also our way of saying that you may not have been personally touched by gun violence yet, but it is so widespread and so ubiquitous in every community and it ultimately comes to you because we really don’t do too much. on the issue. He came to Connors this particular week, but yours is next, or mine is next, and we want everyone to feel that it’s not a problem that you can say is “there a problem.” This is a “problem everywhere and everywhere.”

Connors 4x14TVLINE | Harris points out that McNulty’s kid “has problems, but we all have them” and he’s not the first of her classmates she’d expect to go and do. Why was it important to make this distinction?
GORANSON | I think there is a myth that anyone who shoots with a gun must have a mental illness. This is also a problem, of course. I think the question here is, “What’s different? this person with a gun? “There are a lot of people who have twists in their lives, for whatever reason. I’m not saying that is the case with James McNulty, but a lot of people just have a bad day fighting and shooting someone. People who are annoyed. people who lose their jobs … All these things in life that are really highlighted and exaggerated by COVID are real, you can’t just attribute everything to mental illness.

TVLINE | I found myself saddened by Mary’s initial response to the shooting. Here is this young woman you expect to show fear. Instead, she initially showed readiness after going through countless active shooting practice at school …
GORANSON | We show someone who is so prepared to go through these exercises, which are very common – a burden that is placed on the majority of our children, which is really pathetic and sad. But what happens when gun violence does happen, then what? How prepared are these children for this? What about the trauma? How about fear and a sense of security, just going to school or going somewhere?
Connors 4x14CAPLAN | This is one of the important conclusions of the show. Connors’ working-class community does not have enough resources to deal with the trauma of gun violence, so it takes Mary weeks to come in and see a school psychologist because there is only one school psychologist for every 1,500 children in this school district, which is typical of many of these school districts. And then, when Becky has to go talk to someone, she has to wait three hours on the sidewalk to go to a counselor. And Dan would probably like to sit down and process his thoughts, but he has to get up and go to work. So what about the resources in these underserved communities? Where are they when the headlines fade from the violence and people deal with it [trauma] for days, months and years? Where is the help for them?
GORANSON | There is something ironic in the fact that these children are ready to save their lives, but there are no tools to recover from this violence.

TVLINE | Becky is dealing with a rather severe injury – and as she admits here, she can no longer drink to deal with her problems. Has there ever been a discussion about researching Becky’s desire to drink more in this episode?
Connors 4x14GORANSON | We said it was a potentially bigger moment, yes. I mean, the episode is called “Triggered,” and if something is going to recur, thinking that your daughter might be shot is a good candidate. In my outline, I initially made her call her sponsor because she didn’t have any other resources … but I think it’s really reasonable for her to admit that she usually handles the situation that way.
HELFORD | We felt it was important to admit [her sobriety]because the American saying “I need a good, hard drink” is still quite common – people just grab a beer or anything in a traumatic situation – and so we thought, well, that’s something Becky would do and we would we wanted him to admit it. We try to be as honest as possible, and that would be the moment she thought about it – not a moment of weakness, but certainly a moment of thought.

TVLINE | The first episode of Roseanne The Revival found that Dan had a gun in the house, but it has not reappeared. Did this always seem like the most logical way to debate the gun ownership?
Rosana 10x01HELFORD | Even further back than that, in the fifth season of Roseanne, we found out that Dan wants Rosie to have a gun in the lunch box. Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols [played a customer who] he was threatening her, and Dan wanted her to have a gun … He felt it needed protection, so he always felt it would be a natural part of this story. We wanted to comment on gun ownership and have a balance on both sides of the ongoing dispute. [among the family].

TVLINE | At one point I had planned to ask if you were considering keeping Louise back home for another episode, but the more I thought about it, the more logical it was that the two events would coincide. You can’t predict when something like this will happen …
HELFORD | This is difficult. You know, we didn’t expect Katie [Sagal] to be hit by a car, and we didn’t know when she would return. We had to keep writing the episodes [in her absence]not knowing when he would rejoin us, and he just happened to fall where he felt comfortable enough to be on the show and be mobile, so that was about it. [one]. We definitely wanted this element of “These things don’t happen with sinister winds in front of them.” It usually comes from clear skies and that’s how we wanted it to feel when it hit.

Apple has revived The Afterparty

Although we still have two days from now to find out who doesn’t know about Apple’s new comedic fool The afterpartya serious question about the future of the show has been answered – ie. whether he will receive a second season in the company’s streaming service.

Yes!

This is stated in a press release issued by AppleTV + today, revealing that the series that jumps between series of genres as Detective Danner of Tiffany Hadish tries to figure out who got Dave Franco dirty – has been renewed for a second season.

Given that we don’t know how the mystery of the first season will end – apparently one big witness remains for an interview, in whatever artistic style they deem appropriate – it’s hard to say what the second season of the show will be like. An easy guess would be to go to Agatha Christie /Remove the knives with him, however, following Hadish’s detective to a new case, probably equipped with a new set of comedy bells.

The afterparty was created by Christopher Miller, from prolific Duet Miller and Lord. (Phil Lord serves as the project’s executive producer, but Miller is in charge of writing and showrunner duties throughout the first season.) In addition to Hadish and Franco, the first season of the show also features Sam Richardson, Zoe Bye, Ike Barinholz, Ben Schwartz, Ilana Glaser and Jamie Demetriu, like the various murder suspects after the high school reunion party, was confused.

Our answers to The afterparty were as mixed as the show’s own experiments with genre and tone; the best outing is the one you focus on The ambitious musician of Schwartz, who turned the show into a Crazy ex-girlfriend– TV musical in style. But “psychological thriller” and “police procedures” and comedy can be a strange mix, as the show has he was tormented to balance at different points.

Even so: this is an interesting experiment (and a hell of a cast), so we can’t feel sorry for Apple and Miller for takes another attempt.

Summary of The Incredible Race: Season 33, Episode 10 – [Spoiler] He wins

Seven countries, 17 cities and one global pandemic later, The amazing race there is finally crowned the winners of Season 33.

While best friends Ryan and Dusty led the pack in the early stages of Competition, married YouTubers Kim and Penn kicked him in high gear, winning three straight legs in a row along the way. But entering the final on Wednesday, Raquel and Kayla were gaining serious money. Despite their fair share of running errors, the two flight attendants came together to secure their first win of the season just last week.

But we all know it only takes time one finished first to win this solid $ 1 million prize. So who went home with the money? Let’s summarize the last two games of the season.

ROUTE INFORMATION | All teams are undertaking a charter flight from Greece to Portugal, the westernmost country in Europe, for the penultimate stage of the competition. Once there, they must reach the Fortale De São Filipe in Setúbal, Portugal. With only four pairs left, each duo is aware that there is no room for error. The finish line is visible and everyone is staring at the prize.

Kim and Penn are the first to find the location and notice from the top of the castle Competitionthe symbolic colors of the flag below. The other three teams are right behind them, with only Ryan and Dusty descending the main slider in wrong direction. It will cost them.

ROAD BLOCK | In Who Wants to Explore, teams must choose a boat named after a researcher and row to the other side of the marina. But mixed with boats are vessels with random names of celebrities on them. If they make the wrong choice, they go back to the beginning.

Kim and Raquel take on the challenge, but Kim doesn’t recognize any of the names. She took a risk with Fernão de Magalhães (also known as Ferdinand Magellan) and started rowing. Raquel correctly chooses Bartholomew Diaz, while Arun chooses Antonio Guterres, the former Prime Minister of Portugal. (Listen, I’d like to see Natalia and Arun in the final stage, but let’s be real.) Finally, Ryan chooses Fernando Pessoa, a Portuguese poet. Ru-roh.

Summary of the incredible finale of the competitionAfter fighting for what seems like forever, Arun decides to change boats with Vasco da Gama (correct answer), but Ryan defeats him to the blow and catches him.

Kim is the first, and the YouTube team begins their walk to the Mercearia Confianca de Troino restaurant. where they have to choose a box of sardines and paint its image on a wooden door.

As the first three teams start painting, Arun gets the bad news that he is Guterres no Explorer. His next choice is Pedro Alvarez Cabral, which really brings him the clue.

Raquel and Kayla finish their painting after their second check and start the journey from Santuario to Cabo Espichel to find their next clue … but leave their precious card behind! (He’s not the first team to do this, and he certainly won’t be the last.) It doesn’t take them long to realize the mistake, and panic sets in quickly.

ROAD BLOCK | Kim and Penn arrive at the second road block, where they are tasked with counting the church’s 106 columns as they stand. When they get the right number, they will be directed to the next Pit Stop, a lighthouse that is off in the distance. Penn says he and Kim have pretty bad eyesight (“Evolutionarily, we’d be eaten by tigers by now,” he says.) Raquel and Kayla arrive second, and Kayla solves the task on her first try. (Impressive!) But after a few more guesses, Penn and Kim overtake them in the race to the finals.

Amazing Race, Season 33 Final SummaryPITSTOP | Raquel and Kayla arrive first, winning a trip for two to St. Lucia. Kim and Penn finished second, while Ryan and Dusty finished third in the final. As for Natalia and Arun, their race officially ends here.

THE LAST STAGE BEGINS! | The teams say adeus to Portugal to Fly to CompetitionThe final destination of: Los Angeles. The following route information tells them that they need to unlock their clue using a combination that goes up and down. Raquel and Kayla quickly concluded that the code was on the outside of an elevator, and soon began their journey to the El Pueblo de Los Angeles monument. Kim and Penn also get clues, leaving Dusty and Ryan behind to scratch their heads forever.

ROUTE INFORMATION | The first two teams arrive at the same time and have to find three pieces of evidence by smashing many pinatas. In addition, one member of the team is blindfolded and must listen to instructions from his partner. Raquel and Kayla first retrieve all three clues and go to Sir Hollywood. Kim finally finds her last pinata, a little donkey, and the couple leaves before Ryan and Dusty even show their faces.

The flight attendants arrive at the next task, which is to add foul sounds to five classics Amazing race scenes (in case you need to see the face of a watermelon smash 50 more times – which yes, we definitely do). Using ordinary objects such as beach balls, a bucket of water, etc., they should recreate the right sounds for the already famous scenes, which includes the classic “my ox is broken!” A bit.

Kim and Penn catch up and remind us that video editing and lip sync are all their strengths. If there was an ideal time for married people to take the lead, it would be him. Just kidding! Raquel and Kayla finally make the right noises and head to Dignity Health Sports Park to find their next clue! But man, do they have any competition! Kim and Penn lick their heels.

MEMORY TEST | Teams must correctly answer questions that test them for all countries and tasks they have encountered during the season. Kim and Penn, and Raquel and Kayla arrive almost at the same time. They ask questions about the words they have heard, the portraits they have painted, and some little gnome who joins them by the leg. The flight attendants seem to be able to handle everything quickly, but Kim’s stellar note-taking is helpful. (HELLO, HAS ANYONE CHECKED DUSTY AND RYAN ?!)

Amazing Race, Season 33 Final SummaryThe most difficult question comes down to the specific coin that was hidden under the rocks. Raquel and Kayla seem to fall apart, but then both teams begin to change the answers they originally had correct. (Okay, that’s stressful and I’m just summary $ 1 million race!)

WHO WON? | At the end of the two-hour affair, Kim and Penn complete their quiz, compete at the football stadium and are crowned as the new winners in The amazing race!! Raquel and Kayla are second (after a hell of a fight), leaving Ryan and Dusty in third.

Tell us: did the right team win? Rate the finale and the season below, then click on the comments!

A famous conductor battling brain cancer leaves the orchestra

Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas announced Wednesday that he will step down as artistic director of the New World Symphony, a prestigious training orchestra for young artists in Miami that he helped discover as it fights an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Saying he was “taking stock of my life,” Thomas, 77, a former music director at the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, said he was reducing his administrative duties to focus on his health.

“Now I see that it is time to consider what level of work and responsibilities I can withstand in the future,” he said in a statement.

In a statement, Thomas provided details of his condition, which he announced last summer when he canceled a series of commitments. He said he had glioblastoma, one of the deadliest forms of brain cancer; underwent surgery last year to remove the tumor; and has also received chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

“Cancer is currently under control,” he said. “But the future is uncertain, as glioblastoma is a hidden adversary. Repeating it, unfortunately, is the rule rather than the exception. “

The New World Symphony, where Thomas will remain Artistic Director, praised the “genius of his vision and the strength of his leadership” in a statement in which board chairman Will Osborne said: “We are honored to have his continued presence and participation. . “

Thomas said he plans to continue conducting in the United States and Europe. He is scheduled to give more than two dozen concerts in the coming months, including with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. He is due in Miami on May 6 and 7 to lead the New World Symphony at Mahler’s Fifth Symphony, one of his majors.

After his operation, Thomas has given 20 concerts, performing with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic. The audience greeted him with a standing ovation and he looked relatively energetic.

“I will continue to compose, write and reflect on your and my thoughts,” Thomas said in a statement. “I plan to spend more time wondering, wandering, cooking and spending time with loved ones – two-legged and four-legged. Life is precious. ”

The interior of the shuttle is very themed, with lights and effects on all sides. It is also very small and feels crowded.

The door closes, revealing that it is also themed.

There are many screens and displays scattered around the cabin.

The transport is controlled by the J6-F8, a droid pilot that can only be heard through the speakers and invites passengers to “sit back, relax and enjoy the journey”. J6 also gives tips for interesting places in the Black Spire Outpost as you travel to the planet.

Although he is not visible, a poster near the front of the vehicle contains a photo of the J6-F8. The poster reads:

After exiting the shuttle, guests enter a corridor that is open-air, giving them a taste of sunlight for the first time since entering Halcyon.

The hallway is themed in the same style as the rest of the Black Spire Outpost, with very old concrete and faded paint.

Wires and other equipment are located at the top of the walls and cover the gap of the corridor.

Around the corner at the end of the corridor, guests head to a large, covered space inside Docking Bay 3.

Here, at the entrance to the outpost, passengers are met by their personal concierge while on the planet. He informed guests about the offers here at Batuu, including their Lightning Lane reservations for attractions related to their MagicBands, and their lunch vouchers, which can be redeemed at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or Ronto Roasters (or any fast service in Disney’s Hollywood Studio). Purchases made at the Black Spire Outpost can be held at Docking Bay 3 by the concierge and transported back to the guest cabins aboard the Halcyon later in the day.
