Fake sex photos of Taylor Swift are circulating online

Fake sex photos of singer Taylor Swift that were generated by artificial intelligence (AI) are circulating on X (formerly Twitter).

According to the media The Verge, a publication with one of these images would have been viewed more than 45 million times, shared 24,000 times and would have also generated hundreds of thousands of likes. The verified account behind the post was suspended for violating the platform's policies. The post was online for about 17 hours before it was removed.

The images were taken by other users and shared on other social networks. AI images are still visible on X.

Several Taylor Swift fans criticized X for leaving the posts on her platform for so long.

“I hate anyone who sends or posts AI photos of Taylor Swift!! It's a crime! No woman should have to go through this situation,” one person wrote on X.

“Let’s protect Taylor Swift, report AI images of Taylor Swifts or weird AI photos,” suggests another.

The singer is considering taking legal action, the Chron media reports.

The creation of fake pornographic images is a growing phenomenon. Some AI imaging platforms have added restrictions to prevent the creation of nude images, pornography, or celebrity portraits.
