The Philadelphia Flyers are having a more satisfactory season than expected so far, which doesn’t stop their general manager Daniel Brière from keeping his eyes open to potentially complete a transaction.
According to TSN hockey expert Darren Dreger, the Pennsylvania organization could move in the coming weeks if the project appears to be acceptable to them. More specifically, the journalist identified two club defenders who would likely raise the sails: Sean Walker and Nick Seeler.

“I look at experienced backs. These guys are 29 to 30 years old and can play more than 20 minutes per game. So they are depth players on the blue line. “I believe that the interest that Daniel Brière shows in these two ice hockey players will continue,” commented Dreger on air on Thursday.
“I can tell you that the Flyers are interested in transactions, whether as a buyer or as a seller. This is not due to a desire to divest assets, but rather a desire to create a solid foundation for the future. They are willing to listen to suggestions on any position. They think they have elements to make an exchange.
Philadelphia was one point out of a playoff spot in the National League Eastern Conference before facing the New York Rangers on Friday. This season, Walker and Seeler have both played 19 games: the first has 10 points, while the second has a +10 advantage. Both men are eligible for full free agency next summer.
