Former Issue 14 contestant Amanda broke the news to fans that her father had passed away

This Saturday (13th) Amanda Gontijo received bad news that was shared with her fans. His father, Antônio Soares, died in Goiânia after a tragic car accident. On her Instagram profile, the influencer made a final tribute that caused many tears.
“Today I woke up with very sad news: the sky got another little star. I still can’t believe my sovereign role is gone! For a few moments he got rid of death (itself, few know, but in Covid he was intubated and had two respiratory arrests), but this time God or fate took him from us,” Amanda said.
The accident that led to the death of his beloved father happened when one truck tried to overtake the other, causing Mr Antônio’s vehicle to be thrown off the road. The car eventually crashed, and Antônio could not resist and died. In the homage, Amanda describes emotionally: “Rest in peace, father, I love you!”.
One of the excerpts that moved her fans the most is when she writes that it would be like this: “In a drastic way, but in a way I always imagined: in an accident and work. Two things he loved, traveling and working,” she continued. Amanda joined the reality show in 2014 and has been working as an influencer ever since.
