According to a Financial Times report, the seven major industrialized nations (G7) and the European Union (EU) want to ban the supply of gas through key pipelines from Russia to the EU. The measure will be decided next weekend at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
The measure applies to connections where Moscow had previously stopped deliveries, for example from Russia to Poland and Germany. These pipelines must no longer be in operation.
