(Gatineau) The Gatineau City Police Service (SPVG) made an appeal to the public on Friday evening as part of investigations into a possible kidnapping that occurred earlier in the day on its territory.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the alleged victim, four suspects and a vehicle.
The SPVG said it received a call regarding a person who allegedly witnessed a kidnapping that occurred on Gauthier Street, near the intersection of Duquette Street, in the Gatineau Sector at approximately 4:10 p.m.
“The collection of information on site as well as the investigation led the police to fear that a person, probably of adult age (depending on size), had actually been kidnapped while walking south on Rue Gauthier.” This was the case Police announced in a press release.
The car being sought may be a four-door red Nissan Altima or Sentra, a 2013 to 2019 model registered in Quebec. The vehicle has tinted rear windows and “appears to be equipped with winter tires, or at least the rims do not have hubcaps,” according to the SPVG.
The alleged victim, of unknown gender, had white skin, smoked cigarettes and wore a black hooded coat with fur. She wore black pants and shoes to the event, police said.
The SPVG also provided a description of all suspects allegedly involved in the incident:
“Suspect 1: The driver is believed to be a white-skinned male wearing a black coat with a white logo on the left side of the chest and another logo behind the right shoulder. He was wearing a gray and white hoodie and black pants;
Suspect 2: Caucasian male wearing a black t-shirt and pants and black shoes. He would wear teal or turquoise underwear;
Suspect 3: believed to be a white male wearing a red hoodie, jeans and dark shoes;
Suspect 4: The gender of the person is unknown. The person is said to have had white skin, was wearing light-colored pants and a black T-shirt. »

Area residents who have video footage that would allow them to see the vehicle, the alleged victim or suspects are also asked to call 819 246-0222.
Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see a vehicle matching the description and photos with one or more people on board who may match the suspect’s description.
