Gilmore Girls is one of the cult series of the 2000s. Amy Sherman-Palladino’s dramatic comedy aired for seven seasons on The WB and then The CW and told the story of Lorelai Gilmore, a young woman who gave birth to her first child at just 16 years old. She settled in Stars Hollow, a small town in Connecticut, with her daughter Rory. Her life is shaped by her many love stories, Rory’s studies at the prestigious Chilton School and her relationships with the other residents of the town. The cast of the series, which can be seen in its entirety on Netflix, included Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Melissa McCarthy and Milo Ventimiglia, whose character was created for a simple and good reason.

Jess, none other than Luke Danes’ nephew, quickly won Rory’s heart, but their relationship ended shortly after the young woman graduated.

Gilmore Girls: This Jess spin-off should have seen the light of day
Three years after the release of Gilmore Girls, a spin-off centered around Jess Mariano was set to see the light of day on The WB. An idea that the chain ultimately abandoned for cost reasons. The finale of the third season was intended to serve as a pilot for the spin-off about Jess. As a reminder, the dark-haired man was on his way to California to find his father, who now lives with his new partner. While Jimmy (Rob Estes) was hesitant to take him, he finally relented when he realized his son had nowhere to go. After the cancellation of this spin-off, Milo Ventimiglia eventually returned in seasons 4 and 6 of Gilmore Girls, as well as the sequel that aired on Netflix.
