After the participatory success with the autumn recipes, the most democratic, fair, open and orgiastic culinary competition returns: the Guest Comidista (it’s ugly of us to say it, but it is). In this seventh installment, we take a detour to Fast and Furious and, for the first time, ask you to send us desserts. But not just any: They have to be easy to prepare, not a 73-hour preparation time or an ingredient list that only fits on DIN A3. Easy.

As before, if your recipe is the winner, we will publish your photography and elaboration in El Comidista. And not only that: You also win a juicy lot of 26 different products from our popular Petra Mora Store. This package, worth 186 euros, includes delicacies selected by the company from among the best producers, such as its extra virgin olive oil, its creamy cheese, its candied Piquillo peppers or its Rioja Rosalba red wine. And also other food from Petra Mora’s own animal husbandry, such as beef steak.

But what do I have to do?

Send us a recipe and at least one photo of an easy to make dessert. Whatever it is, whatever you like best, as long as you don’t have to call Jordi Roca to help. But don’t overdo it either: this isn’t about emailing us telling us how to put whipped cream on top of strawberries. The Comidister jury will take into account the originality – it is not allowed to reproduce the photos already published in El Comidista -, the creativity and the quality of the photos attached, since we will publish them if you are the chosen one.

How can I participate?

First you must be of legal age. Do you remember the taste of Dalsy? Great, you’re big, you can now send the recipe and photos to the email address [email protected] with the subject “Comidista Guest Dessert”. If you wish, you can also participate via Instagram: upload to your profile – via private message NO, please- the picture of the dish with the description of the ingredients and the steps to follow, mention our official account (@elcomidista) and put the hashtag #ComidistaInvitadoPostre. Be careful, you must have the public profile during the contest period for us to see the release.

The entry period starts today at 08:00 in the morning and ends next Monday, November 14th at 23:59 at night. You have seven days to practice a lot and even get a topic in a pastry class.

How do I send the prescription?

As we publish them in El Comidista: with a detailed list of ingredients and exact quantities. Nothing like “the size of an adult vanilla beaver” or “like the brown glass my friend from Totana has in his sugar house”. no In units, grams, kilos, liters, milliliters, tablespoons or teaspoons.

Likewise, you must formulate the following elaboration as we do: written in the infinitive, with all the steps in the correct order and giving the exact times or moments in the preparation. For example: “1. First put all the vegetables except the beans in a saucepan – you can also add the spinach at the end and only briefly boil it up – cover with plenty of cold water, bring to the boil and cook over a low heat for a while for an hour and a half, top up with water if necessary. Etc. The more detailed the description, the more likely your win.

Is photography essential?

Yes, the key is that your publication is the same as the one we receive from the other Comidisters, with their recipe and appetizing photos of the dish. If possible, with a minimum size of 1800 x 800 pixels (today almost every camera or mobile phone takes pictures with higher resolution, so you don’t have to worry about that). If you upload it to Instagram, remember to save the original photo in case we ask you to post it at maximum quality.
