For its 2022 edition, the Havana International Book Fair returns to its traditional headquarters in the Fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña. This is where the exhibitors’ pavilion, the professional hall, the presentation rooms, the children’s pavilion and the pavilion of the guest of honor, in this case Mexico, are located.
However, this year the historic center of the city of Havana will also be added as the main venue in order to spread the activities over different spaces. The decision was made due to the epidemiological conditions that exist in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, many of the capital’s cultural institutions will act as venues where topic-specific parallel events will take place.
