A 26-year-old Frenchman, desperate to find his two dogs that have been missing for ten days, decides to offer a car to anyone who can help find the two Brittany spaniels.
“Despite all my efforts, I still don’t know where my dogs are. “I had the idea of donating one of my cars to whoever finds it, to create a stir,” Kevyne Deltour told La Voix du Nord newspaper on Wednesday.
On January 7, Thaïs and Tyna escaped from their home in Saint-Hilaire-sur-Helpe in Avesnois, urging the owner to rush in to try to find the two dogs with tricolor fur.
The young construction company manager then intensified his search by combing villages, searching animal shelters, knocking on neighbors' doors and asking police and elected officials for help, but in vain.
But since Mr. Deltour is also a car lover, the young man came up with the idea of donating one of his six city cars, a Peugeot 107, which, according to local media, is worth around $5,000 on the car market.
“I don’t care about the car, it’s just the equipment. Tyna and Thaïs are worth much more, they are like members of my family. Since they disappeared, my house has been very empty,” he said, saying he was prepared to move “heaven and earth” to find his charges.
