Hoda Kotb sent a message to Kelly Rowland after she stepped away from co-hosting NBC's Today with Hoda & Jenna last week because her dressing room was apparently “not up to par.”

Following the “Motivation” singer's brief appearance during the network's 8 a.m. morning show to promote her new Netflix film Mea Culpa, Rowland, 43, was scheduled to co-host NBC's 10th hour show with Kotb .

However, according to PageSix, sources said that Rowland and her team “didn't like the dressing room, so they decided to take her off the show and leave.” [Kotb] without an innkeeper for the 10 o'clock hour”.

It's been a week since the alleged incident and Kotb has finally addressed it on television.

“I just want to say this: I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland. I adore her and I want her to appear on our show again and I want her to host again,” she said on Tuesday's (Feb. 20) episode of the talk show.

Her co-host Jenna Hager agreed, saying that Rowland is “welcome anytime.” She is the best”.

“Of course she is, of course she is! She can use my changing room. We will get through it together!” Kotb added, appearing to reference the reported locker room drama. “But still, I just want to say we love her. We’ve loved her on this show for many, many years.”

Rowlands' representative did not immediately respond to the Independent's request for comment.

After Rowland's last-minute exit, singer Rita Ora stepped in and joined Kotb.

Over the course of the hour, Kotb and Ora made numerous allusions to the fact that Ora had only found out she would be stepping in minutes before airtime.

Ora was originally there to promote the upcoming season of The Masked Singer.

Last month it was announced that the “Let You Love Me” singer would replace Nicole Scherzinger on the reality singing series' judging panel. She will join returning panelists Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg.
