In addition to the Honor 90 and 90 Lite, the Chinese manufacturer announces a new Android touchscreen tablet: the Honor Pad X9. Its promise seems most interesting to us: a 120 Hz screen for 250 euros.

On July 6th, Honor organized a conference in Paris to formalize the 90 series with the Honor 90 and the Honor 90 Lite. But the brand doesn’t stop there: it also launches its second touchscreen tablet, launched in France, after the Honor Pad 8. Let’s discover the Honor Pad X9 on sale at 250 euros, an evolution of last year’s Pad 8.
An 11.5-inch touchscreen that promises
The Honor Pad X9 offers an 11.5-inch screen with an FHD resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. The manufacturer specifies 100 percent coverage of sRGB and the display of 1.07 billion colors. And all with an 86% screen-to-body ratio.

The Pad X9 seems to stand out from other Android tablets on the market like the Oppo Pad Air or the Redmi Pad in its refresh rate. Up to 120 Hz on this screen: If it will be difficult to run demanding games on this device, then smooth animations will be comfortable. However, the maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² is not ideal for reading in all lighting conditions.

A screen to be enjoyed with six so-called “multidirectional” speakers, since the brand promises 360-degree sound and stereo. To make them stand out, a human voice enhancement algorithm is in place.
Android 13 and MagicOS 7.1 for the Honor Pad X9
This touchpad has a fairly thin thickness of 6.9mm and a total weight of 495 grams. A body that houses a 7250mAh battery.

It comes with Android 13 via the manufacturer’s MagicOS 7.1 overlay. Everything works thanks to a Qualcomm SoC, the Snapdragon 685 engraved in 6nm, while last year’s Pad 8 featured the Snapdragon 680. So there is a slight advancement on this point. Only one storage capacity on the Honor Pad X9: 128 GB, which is a classic in this series.

The Honor Pad X9 is already available in a single gray color at the price of 249.90 euros in the manufacturer’s official shop.
