On Tuesday February 28, in the heart of downtown Adelaide, Australia, a truck went off its lane and ran on its side for tens of meters, mowing everything in its path.
The driver had simply passed out at the wheel of his vehicle. A runaway truck made an impressive drive in the heart of downtown Adelaide, reports The Mirror.
A few yards from other stunned motorists, he deviates from his trajectory and finds himself on the sidewalk, destroying several trees, streetlights, and a bus stop.
“A Hell’s Noise”
Finally, he finishes his race several tens of meters further, slowed down by a bush, very close to several houses. Miraculously, nobody was hurt, but the truck left a real mess.
The scene, which was filmed by a car’s dashboard camera, shocked several witnesses. “The truck made a terrible noise when I arrived and I wondered if it was going to explode. The driver had blood on his face but otherwise seemed fine,” said Paul Brackley, a witness to the incident quoted by Le Parisien, who says the driver was hospitalized after the crash.
