Jacqueline Jossa has ended rumors claiming she would return to EastEnders full-time.

Earlier this month, the 30-year-old actress returned to Albert Square to reprise her role as Lauren Branning for the first time since leaving the soap opera in 2017.

Jac wrote a lengthy message to Instagram on Wednesday, making it clear she “will not be returning to the court full-time” as she thanked fans for their support.

She explained: “I’ve just been inundated with people who are nice, but when I think of coming back to Eastenders full-time I don’t know if something was taken from an interview or made up entirely, but either way I’m just all of them Shut down rumors or stories.

“I’m not constantly on my way back to the pitch, it’s not in talks, I haven’t confirmed a return.

“Nor am I saying that I would never return, if and when the time is right I would happily do so.”

Jac continued, “I hope you’re all doing well. As I have said many times and still say Eastenders is the best job ever and has been an honor for the 8 years.

‘Not going back right now, thanks for all the excited DMs and calls and texts…sorry lol.’

The actress is said to be ready for an EastEnders return after reportedly approaching bosses about a comeback following her appearance at Dot Cotton’s funeral.

Her seven years at Walford could be extended, sources claimed after allegedly speaking with executive producer Chris Clenshaw.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Jacqueline thoroughly enjoyed reprising her role as Lauren for Dot’s funeral. EastEnders has been a big part of her life and she absolutely loves her character.

“She had a chat with EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw when she was filming again and made it clear she would be ready for Lauren to return to Walford.”

They went on to explain that the job now needs to fit in with her family life of taking care of her children.
