The world of media in Quebec is degenerating, passions are flaring and sparks are flying, heating tempers and dividing opinions.
In this whirlwind of controversy and debate, Jeff Fillion, Quebec's most controversial media personality, recently caused a storm by violently attacking La Presse sports journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange.
Tremblay and the gang of time gave birth to La Presse.
You and your gang will shut down La Presse.
Take your hole thing.

On the other hand, less embarrassed than many shy 35 year olds, hahaha…

The reason for this explosive excursion stems from a verbal altercation between Lorange and the famous sports columnist Réjean Tremblay.
Lorange had publicly accused Tremblay of being pro-Putin and suggested that Tremblay approved of Putin's actions in Ukraine and in his own country.
This accusation was like a spark in a powder keg and led Fillion to take up verbal arms against Lorange, insulting him and questioning his journalistic integrity.
While these media feuds rage, a tragedy has occurred thousands of miles away.
A hero of the resistance, Alexei Navalny, died as a victim of the Putin regime's reprisals. Navalny, a fierce opponent of Putin, sacrificed his life to defend the ideals of freedom and democracy and to oppose the authoritarian power of his government.
As the Quebec media focuses on the heated exchanges between Fillion, Tremblay and Lorange, it is important to remember the real tragedy unfolding before our eyes.
Navalny lost his life as a hero. His courage and determination to stand up to Putin will go down in history as an example of bravery and sacrifice.
It's time to look away from the media's superficial bickering and remember a man who gave his life for freedom.
