Jennifer Aniston made a very heartfelt appearance in the series finale of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The Friends alumna said it was a very emotional experience to know that a show like this had come to an end.
“I still can’t believe it is,” the Just Go With It actress explained in an interview with People. “It won’t be there anymore because it was such a staple.”

The actress has appeared on the talk show a total of 20 times and was not only Ellen’s last guest on the series, but also her first guest when the show first aired in 2003.
Before the two stars began filming, the 53-year-old caught sight of Ellen backstage for a special moment with no cameras around her.
“We made sure to see each other beforehand so we could let those emotions out,” Jennifer said.
However, the star explained that working on the final episode, which aired last month in May, was very surreal. “It didn’t feel like the last show. It was bizarre.’

The actress surprised Ellen with a present for the episode that had a very special and heartwarming meaning.
At the series premiere, Jennifer gave a mat with “Welcome” printed on the front. To commemorate all the fun times and hilarious moments on the show, the Morning Show star presented a Thanks For The Memories matte in the final episode.
“I’m actually taking this home today,” DeGeneres said as Jennifer placed the new doormat on stage.
Jennifer got emotional a few times before the show aired its grand finale. When she guested last year, the Golden Globe winner shed a few tears over the subject of the final season taking place.
‘This isn’t meant to be emotional!’ the talented actress explained, dabbing a handkerchief to soak up a few drops of water.

“Even though the world was here before Ellen and will be here now after, she has been such a source of entertainment and love and joy and laughter for people,” Jennifer told the publication. ‘It is sad.’
The show ran for 19 seasons, received 171 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, and won 61 of those nominations.
In addition to filming the latest Ellen Show episode, which was a heartbreaking experience, the actress has also been busy working on the sequel, Murder Mystery 2. The comedy is slated to release on Netflix and also stars talented actor Adam Sandler.
Filming took place abroad in France, and the star opened up about her feelings about being so close to Ukraine.
In an interview with People, she spoke about how the country was just a stone’s throw away and that she felt bad for doing a comedy at the time.
“I reminded myself that people need this. People want to laugh. People need comedy. People like not to think for a minute,” the Friends alumna said.
