“And when they heard this movie and saw the movie at the premiere the other night, I think they were really blown away,” she continued.
“They said, ‘Whoa. You did that? “You did that?”” she recalled.
“And suddenly that’s all you are,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg.
“Just for a second,” she replied. “Then it’s again: “Mom, don’t wear the crop top!”
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, The View also allegedly censored Lopez's response to one of the co-host's questions during her appearance.
When co-host Ana Navarro asked how she told Variety that she self-funded her three-part, $20 million multimedia project, the live broadcast was interrupted.
“I think it was hard for people to understand what I wanted to do,” she began. “I didn’t want to make videos or a collection of videos.” That wasn’t the goal. It's not really a long film. It's somewhere in between.'
She continued, “It's like this meta-musical thing. “It's like a new thing, and I wanted to do something new.

“I think a lot of people couldn't understand it, so no one wanted to fund it and no one wanted to include it in their services,” she added.
“It was like, trust me.” This is something new and exciting. “At the end of the day I was like, 'You know…'” she said before the audio was muted.
When the show's audio came back, Lopez laughed and the audience applauded.
“…And then I'll show them. 'I'll show them!' She said. “When I showed it to them, they said, 'Oh, we love that!'”
Her album and musical film, both titled This Is Me… Now, are scheduled to be released on Friday, February 16th.
Her documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told” will be released on February 27th.
