Jonathan Majors is seen in shocking surveillance video repeatedly shoving and wrestling with Grace Jabbari before she chases after him, as the judge releases a trove of new damning evidence during his assault trial

Several pieces of evidence have been released in the trial of Marvel star Jonathan Majors, including a video of the alleged attack for which he is currently on trial.

The videos, photos and text messages paint an unflattering portrait of Majors – who was tipped to be the next face of the superhero franchise.

Majors, 34, is on trial in New York for allegedly beating up his former partner Grace Jabbari, 30, after she saw a text message from another woman on his phone.

Evidence released by the court showed security camera footage of Majors repeatedly pushing and pushing Jabbari into her SUV – after he allegedly broke her finger and hit her head in March this year.

Photos showing both of her injuries were also shown at Majors' trial.

There is also an audio recording of Majors berating Jabbari during an argument for not living up to the standards of Michelle Obama and Coretta Scott King, Martin Luther King's wife.

The evidence also includes text messages sent by Majors after a fight – which prosecutors say were part of a “cruel and manipulative pattern of abuse” and appeared to admit to hitting her.

The news also shows Majors telling Jabbari not to seek help as it could trigger an “investigation.”

There is also a photo of a dent in the wall that Jabbari claimed was made when Majors threw a candle at her during another fight in Los Angeles.

Even though the charges against Majors are only misdemeanors, he could not have more at stake – and he is fighting for his reputation and his career.

Since his arrest in March following the incident, his career has been put on hold and “Magazine Dreams,” his film about a troubled bodybuilder that was nominated for an Oscar, has been shelved.

Majors played Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel series and was considered the fulcrum of the next chapter in the superhero universe, but that now depends on the outcome of the trial.

It includes a 30-minute video from the evening of March 25 showing Majors and Jabbari, 30, a British-born choreographer and dancer, going out to dinner and returning home.

The jury has heard that on the way back to her Manhattan apartment, a message from another woman called “Cleopatra” appeared on the major's phone: “I wish I kissed you.”

The court heard that Jabbari met some strangers on the street who offered to take her out for a drink to comfort her. So she went to a nightclub with them, went home and passed out.

The Majors found her slumped in the closet the next day and called the police, who came by and arrested him after speaking to Jabbari.

Evidence released by the court included photographs of Majors and Jabbari and their injuries.

Jabbari and Majors began dating in the summer of 2021 while she was working as a motion director for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. which was filmed at Pinewood Studios in the UK.

But prosecutors said that within months, Majors began to show his true colors, which were violent and abusive.

Among the incidents Jabbari testified to was a July 2022 fight in Los Angeles in which he threw a candle at her, leaving a dent in the wall – a photo of the damage is among the exhibits.

Describing the incident to the jury, she said: “It started in the bathroom and when I tried to get into the bedroom it stayed in that area. “Once he got that angry, it mostly happened in the sleeping area.

“(He threw) everything within his reach, candles and bedroom items.”

“I ran around (and hid) so he wouldn't come for me.” He was really, really screaming and really angry.

“(I was) scared and knew I had to calm him down because I wanted it to stop.”

The evidence also includes an audio recording of Majors berating Jabbari after another fight in London in September 2022.

She had upset him by bringing a friend over to her house and told the court that the next day he ripped her headphones off her head and called her “stupid” because she didn't know why he was angry .

Jabbari said Majors then took all of her items out of the house, stuffed them into trash bags and then threw them in the trash cans.

In the audio recording, which is being released for the first time, Majors could be heard saying “How dare you?” and telling her to be more like Coretta Scott King, the wife of Martin Luther King, and Michelle Obama.

Majors can be heard saying, “I'm a great man.” A great man. “I’m doing great things, not just for myself, but for my culture…for the world.”

He said he needed a “woman to support me,” a “great woman” who would “make sacrifices.”

Majors can be heard saying that Jabbarii “deviated from the plan and the plan is everything.”

The court also released dozens of text messages between Jabbari and Majors sent after a fight in September 2022.

Majors wrote, “It's just a fake.” And I'm afraid you have no idea what could happen if you go to the hospital. They will ask you questions and since I don't think you can really protect us, there could be an investigation even if you lie and they suspect something.

Jabbari responded that she would tell the doctor that she “hit my head.”

After a fight in September 2022 – it is not clear if it was the same one – Majors threatened suicide in text messages if Jabbari sought treatment.

A domestic violence expert for the prosecution told the court that threats like these could be a way for a perpetrator to maintain control over his victims.

Majors said: “Last night I thought about killing myself instead of coming home.”

“I need love too.” Or maybe I'm such a monster and a terrible man, I don't deserve it. And I should just kill myself. In this way my existence is miserable, I want to die.

Jabbari replied, “I won't go to the doctor if you don't feel safe with me or trust me.” I promise you I would never mention you, but I understand your fear.

Majors replied: “I am a monster, a terrible man, incapable of love. I will kill myself soon.”

Majors was supported daily in court by his girlfriend Meagan Good, the model and actress.

He seemed at times in disbelief of Jabbari's testimony and sat in court reading the Bible he brought to court every day.
