She announced earlier this month that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé, Oliver Piotrowski.
And Jorgie Porter said her pregnancy has been a “roller coaster of emotions” as it comes eight months after losing quadruplets in a devastating miscarriage.
The Hollyoaks star, 34, admitted she initially struggled to get excited about her pregnancy because she was “anxious” after her 14-week miscarriage.

She publicly revealed her baby news with a video shared to social media earlier this month, and she said it helped her calm down about her pregnancy.
“It was obviously a bit scary at first, I was nervous about getting excited,” she told the Daily Star.
“Now I can talk about being pregnant, it’s a relief.”
Jorgie said she’s nervous about getting “nasty comments” on social media, but said she’s had a very positive reaction from her fans and Hollyoaks co-stars.

“A lot of people have also thanked me for speaking out about what I went through,” she added of her miscarriage.
The actress confirmed she will be taking a break from playing Therese McQueen on the soap opera during her maternity leave and said she doesn’t know what will happen after that.
Jorgie debuted her blooming baby bump on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards 2022 at the Hackney Empire in London last weekend.
She narrowly avoided disaster after forgetting her outfit after six months of planning while her fiancé Ollie rushed after her on a separate train to bring her the dress.

Despite her mishap, Jorgie looked calm and collected as she arrived at the party in the off-the-shoulder, floor-length dress with her stomach fully exposed.
Jorgie announced her pregnancy in a short clip shared to social media, titled “hopeful beginnings,” which captured a sweet reveal of a baby scan.
The couple, Oliver’s son from a previous relationship, and their pooch took turns removing their hands – and paws – to reveal the scan underneath.
The post’s comments section was awash with congratulatory messages, including from TOWIE’s Georgia Kousoulou and fellow Jorgie Hollyoaks Chelsee Healey.
The official Hollyoaks Instagram reposted Jorgie’s video with a heartfelt message: “@themissyporter #REPOST HUGE NEWS! We have a little tiny new McQueen on the way! [sic] our beautiful @themissyporter is pregnant! ❤️ Happy birthday everyone, this is the best news ever! ❤️’.
Her happy news comes eight months after Jorgie lost quadruplets in a devastating miscarriage at 14 weeks.
In an interview in March, Jorgie said she had no idea she’d lost her quadruplets because her body was “still pregnant” after a missed miscarriage.
She explained that she chose to have it removed surgically, while her fiancé, Ollie, spoke about feeling “helpless” during the ordeal as the couple performed together on Loose Women.
Recalling first finding out about the pregnancy, Jorgie told the Loose Women panel: “I was excited that we got pregnant because that’s what we wanted. We got checked out early because we have twins in our family – on both sides.

“The doctor said we could see three sacks – we had no idea what that meant. They said, “We’re going to rush you to a hospital appointment.”
“With this one we were told that there were four sacks. We weren’t the wiser until she said ‘quads of a kind’.
Ollie, who she has been dating since 2020, added: “I fell!” while Jorgie admitted she was panicking: “My body is too small!”
She continued, “So we were just shocked. And the whole pregnancy wasn’t exactly comfortable – my hormones were just…

What is a missed miscarriage?
A missed miscarriage, also known as a missed abortion or silent miscarriage, occurs when a fetus dies but the body does not recognize the loss of pregnancy or expels the pregnancy tissue.
As a result, the placenta can continue to release hormones, so the woman may continue to show signs of pregnancy.
It’s usually diagnosed during a routine exam, where the doctor doesn’t see a heartbeat. A subsequent ultrasound shows an underdeveloped fetus.
“When you’re pregnant you want to tell some people, and you don’t tell a lot of people early on. I’m not sure why. But I don’t like keeping a secret. I like to tell everyone what’s going on in my life.
“Having the hormones times four was just really stressful. I was into costume work. Within three or four weeks my body started to change dramatically and the costumes didn’t fit anymore.
“Before we found out it was quadruplets, I was like, ‘This is crazy what pregnant women go through’.”
Addressing her devastating miscarriage, Jorgie recalled, “We went for scans regularly because we were being looked after.
“And during our fifth or sixth scan, they said, ‘You miscarried, they’re gone.’ I was ready for the girl gang.
When asked if there were any signs of a miscarriage, she explained, “No, that was a different matter. It was a missed miscarriage, so my body was still pregnant and showing the symptoms of pregnancy.
“The next part is really heartbreaking, the question of how to proceed. The hospital said… there are ways… how do we get rid of this?
“So we went through the path of surgery to allow me to pass out. I didn’t want to see or hear anything…
“They’ve never actually done this surgery, so they didn’t know what the outcome might be. They said there could be a lot of blood loss.’
Ollie added: “It was kind of just that it was a miscarriage. As a man, it was really helpless and scary.
Thankfully, the pair came out even stronger as Georgie admits: “We talk a lot. We’re really good at communicating a lot.’
Ollie explained, “I cried right away while you were really hard and strong. Then a few days later you had a breakdown and I had to be strong.’
Amid the couple’s heartache, Jorgie shared the happy news that Ollie had popped the question three weeks before Christmas.
