The video on Tiktok. Autumn in the Dominican Republic

The announcement with videos on social media. Singer Lorenzo Jovanotti, 56, a great cycling lover, has posted some videos on TikTok in which he claims to have broken his collarbone and thigh in various places due to a bad fall during his trip to the Dominican Republic. «I had a great flight with the bike. I’m afraid I broke something. I had a missed flight, I didn’t see the delayer. I guess I broke my pelvis because I can’t stand up. I flew great. I’m visiting a friend in the Dominican Republic… I brought my bike, on the third day wow…».
Then Lorenzo thanks the rescuers several times. “I definitely broke a collarbone and also a pelvis. My collarbone fracture is misaligned… I fractured my femur in three places. An absurd evil.” Then the pictures in the ambulance and in the hospital: “Tomorrow, maybe Monday, I’ll have an operation.” My husband in Romagna, Fabrizio Borra, saw the signs. You must stick a titanium nail in me.

The unexpected flight arrived, says the star, while she was “taking a beautiful ride, I saw beautiful places in the middle of the sugar cane plantations.” And he thanks the medical staff on site: “The Dominicans helped me with great care.” They were excellent.” Then he reassured the fans: “It hurts like hell,” says Jovanotti. “It’s quite a complex operation but she’s recovering. It will take time but I’m alive and well.’ For the next few weeks, only rest is on the agenda for the rapper and songwriter. Luckily he hadn’t scheduled any dates for his Jova Beach Party this year: the tour to the beaches is taking a year off, only to return, he announced, in 2024.

J0vanotti is a passionate bike tourist. In April he released his documentary Aracataca on Raiplay, with seventy hours of footage compressed into 22 episodes of 15 minutes each. A “documentary trip” because he tells of his 3,500-kilometer solo bike tour from the Andes to the Amazon, from Ecuador to Colombia. The pictures were taken with an action camera.
