Julie Bishop proved she's just like the average Australian on Thursday as she took a train ride in Sydney after a day of shopping.
The former foreign secretary, 67, wasn't afraid to take on the working man as she donned a white T-shirt and black leggings on public transport.
With her David Jones bag in hand, the politician carried another large gift bag as she posed for a photo with her new shaggy hairstyle.
“That day Julie Bishop took a train ride,” she wrote in the caption.
She added: “With apologies.” [Christopher Pyne]”, while mocking a similar post by the former defense minister about driving a tram in Sydney.
