Turner is best known for her collaboration with Oscar winner Michael Douglas, with whom she made three films: Romancing the Stone, The Jewel In The Nile and The War Of The Roses.
She previously spoke openly about how she fell in love with the American actor, who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones and with whom he has two children: Dylan and Carys.
Turner previously admitted that “the sexual attraction between the two was all too real,” and when the cameras rolled there were few, including Kathleen, who didn’t believe their on-set passion would lead to an affair.
“The chemistry was there and Michael and I were both terrible flirts.” I thought Michael was broken up. “We were in the jungle and I felt very romantic towards him,” she said.
“It would happen. Then one day I went to set and suddenly his wife was there.’
The appearance of Douglas’ then-wife, Diandra Luker, was a warning message to Turner that she and her husband were still very much married.
“She sat next to him and made that very clear to me.” And that was it. “You don’t mess with another woman’s husband.”
