Hollywood star Kevin Spacey allegedly grabbed a man’s crotch, kissed him twice on the neck and told him “be cool, be cool” before panicking when the victim rejected him, Southwark Crown Court heard.
The court was told that Spacey had a “panic” look on his face after being rebuffed by a man he met in a pub.
The alleged victim, whose name cannot be released for legal reasons, told a police officer that the Hollywood star kissed his neck twice before grabbing him, saying the words “be cool, be cool”.
In the interview played to the jury, the man described an incident at an address where Spacey was staying in the Cotswolds after accidentally letting the actor’s dog out.
After telling the officer that he had apologized to Spacey for the dog’s temporary escape, the complainant said, “At that point he came up to me with a hug gesture and said, ‘Don’t worry, it’s cool It’s cool.’

“We did what I call an awkward man hug — he hugged me, I kind of patted him on the back.”
“At that point he kissed my neck twice and grabbed my crotch. He said the words “Be cool, be cool” twice.
“I put my arm between us and pressed it against a wall.
“I said, ‘I’m sorry man, I don’t play for this team’.”
The witness said that after rejecting Spacey, the actor “immediately had a panicked look on his face” before leaving the room.
He told the officer his “shock” at the incident, but then said he “shook it off” before leaving.
In testifying, Spacey’s alleged victim first made it “very clear” that he didn’t want the two-time Oscar winner touching his leg and groin, the court heard.
The 63-year-old actor allegedly kidnapped four men “for his own sexual gratification” between 2001 and 2013.
The jury has heard the star is a “sexual bully” who takes pleasure in making his assault victims feel “powerless and uncomfortable”.

Spacey is alleged to have committed offenses by grabbing, squeezing and touching the genitals and buttocks of his four victims through their clothing.
He committed most of the alleged crimes while he was artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre.
Yesterday, the first alleged victim described the American beauty star as “a very confused person” and “a snake-like, slippery person who cannot be trusted”.
He claimed the actor grabbed his crotch.
A jury at Southwark Crown Court this morning heard two former girlfriends of the first applicant.
The first told the court about a change in the man’s behavior between 2001 and 2011.
She said, “He told me snippets.”
“I remember him saying he put his hands on his knee.
“I said at the time maybe that’s what he’s doing and if that bothers him then maybe he should talk to him.” [someone].

“I don’t think he did it [speak to anyone]”I think it would have been an awkward conversation.”
She said there came a time when the man no longer wanted to talk about Spacey.
“Interest had waned.” I asked questions and he didn’t answer me.
“He hasn’t communicated that he wants more.”
The woman said his mood swing ultimately affected their relationship.
“He was very unhappy with me. He didn’t call me that often and we very rarely saw each other and I had to wonder if it was something I had done.
“It took a long time to rebuild the relationship. Ultimately [it was successful] but it took a long time.’
The second ex-girlfriend said the man claimed Spacey attacked him “at least a few times.”
She dated the alleged victim from 2011 and he told her about incidents involving the actor.
“Spacey had acted inappropriately and at one point put his hand on his leg and also grabbed his crotch.”

‘He [the man] said he was very embarrassed and shocked by the whole thing…”
Spacey, who is originally from New Jersey, USA, has denied three counts of indecent assault, seven counts of sexual assault, one count of inducing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and one charge of inducing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent have consent.
The two-time Oscar winner has starred in Glengarry Glen Ross, Seven, LA Confidential and Baby Driver. He also starred in the Netflix series House of Cards.
