Kristin Cavallari is proud of her body.

The 36-year-old mother-of-three, who has traveled around Europe and is currently based in Sweden, just posted an Instagram carousel featuring two photos of herself in a black string bikini. The Back to the Beach podcaster captioned the post, “…but she’s a mom.”

Followers loved the picture. One wrote: “Maybe she was born with it. Maybe she’s Kristin Cavallari,” while another added, “Love this! It’s awful how often moms get crap for wanting to be themselves. You look gorgeous and happy and that’s what counts.”

The reference to motherhood appears to be a nod to a previous Instagram message Cavallari shared with her fans. In 2022, she posted a photo of herself overlooking the beach and wearing a black two-piece suit.

“I’ve been sitting on this picture for a few days, debating whether or not to post it,” she captioned the post. “In the end I made my decision [because] I’ve come a long way over the past few years and I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made. I don’t even recognize the girl in the other 2 photos… and no, I’ve never had an eating disorder… it was just stress.”

Cavallari, who shares three children with her ex-husband Jay Cutler, added: “I train really hard and am committed to a healthy lifestyle and I think just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t be proud of it my body and feel comfortable in my own skin. So, let’s go.”

The Hills graduate also opened up about feeling more comfortable with himself last year. In a June 2022 interview with Us Weekly, she said she embarked on a fitness journey with a personal trainer to build more muscle. She explained: “I didn’t realize at the time how skinny I was. So I’m glad I gained weight.”

Cavallari, who said her trainer made her lift the “heaviest weights” of her life, added, “I feel the best I’ve ever felt. I feel stronger than ever.”
